Subsidiaries and Co
1999: Purchase of the Domaine de la Ville Huchet, then a two-star campground located in Saint Malo. Arnaud spearheaded the construction of a corsair-themed Water Park.
Séverine’s husband, Gaël du Jonchay, took over the operation in 2004. The Campground got a facelift; three stars in 2006, four stars in 2008, construction of chalets, new toilet facilities, the Indoor Water Park, etc. After ten years, Ville Huchet took off on its own in 2009, while maintaining a close working relationship with Le Domaine des Ormes.
2003
Purchase of the St. Léonard.
Known to all as the “St. Léo”, this bar-restaurant is located in the village of St. Léonard, just a short stroll from Le Domaine. The family initially wanted to maintain a local business, fundamental to the life of a village. The St. Léo is a friendly bar that is open daily.
2006
Creation of the national La Cabane en l’Air (The Cabin in the Air) network.
Before the success of the treehouses, Arnaud decided to expand this adventure.
He created the Cabin in the Air trademark to reproduce this concept beyond the Campground’s walls. Since then, 35 partners from all over France have joined this unique network. Nearly 200 treehouses or houses on water have been built and backed up through a central reservation system. To maintain these activities, a company known as Eclosion was born.
2007
Purchase of L’Auberge de la Cour Verte.
A charming 17th-century building located at the entrance to Dol de Bretagne. It offers a selection of pancakes, crepes, mussels, and grilled meats cooked over a wood fire in a warm atmosphere.
2011
Association with the tour operator Home From Home, created by Olivier Million.
This new subsidiary specializes in offering holidays in caravans in various locations throughout France.
35 years in 2012: And the adventure continues!
